Dr. Howard Rasheed

Dr. Howard Rasheed is Founder of the Institute for Innovation. He is co-inventor of Idea Accelerator™, a group intelligence methodology and web-based software application for ideation and brainstorming.

Howard Rasheed is also Associate Professor of Business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and holds a Ph.D. from The Florida State University in Strategic, International, & Entrepreneurial Management.

Dr. Rasheed has written over 30 academic publications in the areas of: Innovation, E-commerce, Business Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. He currently teaches courses in Strategic Management and Managing Innovation and Technology. Dr. Rasheed has also lectured and consulted around the world on collaborative innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic visioning.

Dr. Rasheed’s corporate experience includes data and telecommunications management with AT&T and Chief Financial Officer at an aerospace manufacturer. He has history of success as business consultant, having won over $16 million of grants and contracts.

Today, Dr. Rasheed speaks and consults with commercial, public sector and nonprofit organization in the areas of collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship.
